Hi Everyone,
How’s it going two months in?
Are you keeping yourself in balance with work, exercise, having fun, connecting with loved ones, cleaning your basements and closets and getting enough rest?
What are the things you still feel you need to accomplish during this challenge? What are the lessons you feel you’ve learned and now need to apply?
Now would be the time to take inventory- whether mentally or creating an actual physical list and think about how you want to proceed.
If you’re in need of a happiness hack to enjoy the day, here’s one:
When was the last time you complimented someone?
Acknowledging the good in someone else, highlighting positive attributes in another person, allows you to feel better.
Compliment someone, even when you don’t feel like doing so.
You might compliment the way your child focuses on his schoolwork, the way your husband or wife makes a bed, folds sheets or washes dishes, the way your friend sends you inspirational texts each week to keep the vibration high.
Take the time to acknowledge others. This technique instantly elevates your mood and makes you feel good.
Besides, how do you feel when someone compliments you?
Staying in the happiness lane, wanted to share this beautiful piece of artwork a reader from Lancaster, Pennsylvania shared with me a little while back. The image, which the reader termed her “happy place,” is of Cassie sitting in the Library of Wisdom from The Land of Blue.
Grateful.
Please note her Instagram account and portfolio.

Until next time, don’t forget to stop and smell the lilacs…
All good things,
