Happy September! The month of new beginnings, manifestation, anticipation of all to come, and the turning of the page.
During the respite of August, I had the good fortune of reading the novel “Eleanor Oliphant is Completely Fine” by Gail Honeyman. Amongst those treasured pages, I selected a few jewels to share with you here:
“It was such a strange, unusual feeling–light, calm, as though I’d swallowed sunshine. I was gradually getting used to feeling the range of available human emotions, their intensity, the rapidity with which they could change. Until now, anytime that emotions, feelings, had threatened to unsettle me, I’d drink them down fast, drown them. That had allowed me to exist, but I was starting to understand that I needed, wanted, something more than that now….”
“I didn’t normally notice my surroundings, I realized..Perhaps, if you had friends or a family, they might help you to notice things more often. They might even point them out to you.”
“Thank you,” I said. Everything was there, obvious to us both, but it all remained unsaid. Sometimes that was the best.”
In your goals this month, in your pursuit of worthy achievements:
* Pay attention to the “needing and the wanting of something more,” listening to that whisper and letting that be your north star to where you are going, even if you are uncertain of the destination.
* Remember that at the end of the day, it’s about being present, in your environment, with your people, with yourself, confident in who you are with all your flaws and imperfections, which is why, of course, your family and friends love you most of all.
* Set your goals, state your intentions, and
Keep. It. Simple.
Understand that less is more.
Clarity of purpose is what matters most, and this usually comes down to relationships and how we serve the greater whole. When you gain clarity in what it’s all for, you also gain confidence which creates momentum in the manifesting.
Ready?
Now, move forward.
All good things,
Jill
